f the goal is to teach character and values so mindsets are changed, bullet points on a PowerPoint slide or words on the smartboard won’t accomplish your mission. Words alone won’t cut it. If you hear information delivered verbally, you are likely to remember about 10 percent of that information three days later.

Add a picture, however, and your recall rate soars to 65 percent. concepts presented as pictures along with words are more likely to be recalled. Put simply, visuals matter–a lot.
