I love CHARACTER COUNTS! and all that it stands for. I am a 3rd-grade elementary school teacher and a parent of 5th-grade twins. I am looking for some ideas of books or other materials that I can use both in my classroom and with my own children. I noticed on the website that you have an “online store.” Can you suggest some of your favorite materials?

Dear Ready to Shop,
My favorite section of our Resources Catalog is TOOLS FOR TEACHERS. Here you will find curricula, multimedia and incentives. CONNECT WITH CHARACTER has character-education modules that are fun, innovative, and standards-based. The modules are designed to be implemented across the curriculum. The lessons, games, and activities would be fun for your classroom or at home. Our GOOD IDEAS lesson plan books are full of activities and support. I particularly like the CHARACTER EDUCATION FILM CLIPS as well as our IN SEARCH OF CHARACTER VIDEOS. Both come with discussion guides, writing assignments and group activities. The students LOVE these.
Our Resource Catalog is full of everything you need to support your character-development program. In addition, check out our free online resources. You will find more lesson plans, reproducible handouts for parents, quotes to use in your classroom, book lists and more. And lastly, for more detailed help and explanation you can call our Customer Service department (customerservice@jiethics.org or 877-852-8981) and talk to our representatives or call direct to our Program Specialists (800-711-2670, 8:30 to 5:30 Pacific Time) who are more than willing to help and share with you even more ideas and lend more support.
We wish you a lot of luck and support in your endeavors and thank you for all you are doing to change the lives of others.
Sincerely,
CC!
