Mississippi Gulf Coast, MS: Community Teams Up To Promote CC!

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, the Harrison County Sheriff's Department, and the Sun Herald have teamed up to provide CHARACTER COUNTS! training and character-education resources for local schools. Their goal is to promote and develop good character both at school and in the workplace. As a result, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College has developed curriculum and trained teachers, while the sheriff's department and the Sun Herald are promoting CC! through business and community organizations, the media, and school activities. At Saucier Elementary School, all of the teachers and staff have completed CC! training and are using CC! curricular materials.
