Bottineau, ND: CC! Coalition Puts Grant Money to Good Use

The CC! Coalition in Bottineau received a $7,000 grant in 2003 from the Kids Council, and by September 2004 was making good use of it.

The Coalition first had three large CC! signs made, each 8 x 12 feet. According to the Minot Daily News, each sign consisted of three framed panels of wording. The signs were to appear on the side of local roads, and two members of the Coalition, Bottineau County Sheriff Steve Watson and Josh Hagen, made the arrangements with residents to donate use of their land.

In addition, the Coalition offered several programs to K-12 students.
