In 2002 the Boys & Girls Club at this base, 26 miles southeast of Fairbanks, celebrated CC! Week by designing and covering a whole wall with the Six Pillars. “We had pictures of youth displaying different ‘Do the right thing’ examples,’” says Debbie Conklin. “We printed coloring sheets and posted them also to the wall. Our wall became quite popular and a conversation piece for all who entered the building.” This year the Club plans similar CC! Week activities.
