Fort Carson has infused CC! throughout its programming. During orientation all staff receive training in CC!. Activities at the different age levels include:

• CDCs - Pictures of the six Character Carousel animals hang in hallways. The daily activities use the Six Pillar terminology, along with books that illustrate the Pillar, color and animal.
• FCC - Providers receive training in CC! and can check out CC! materials from the FCC Lending Library.
• SA - CC! posters and books are available for SA children.
• MS/Teen - The main bulletin at the entrance to the Youth Center displays the Six Pillars and all bulletin boards reflect CC!. The gym has Six Pillar flags displayed, and coaches learn about CC! so they can teach and model the Pillars. "MS/Teens enjoy the CC! comic book," adds Jan McConnell, Fort Carson DCA.

In addition, each year in October CYS sponsors a Fall Fest, where kids play games created to reflect the Six Pillars and CC!. The CYS presents community service ideas to parents and children, along with a patriotic pin with a purple ribbon.
