Teacher Cindy Hoehne of Tozer Elementary has come up with a novel way to make her second graders remember the Six Pillars of Character: rap music. She has written what she calls the CHARACTER COUNTS! Rap, and it has captured the attention of the students. Her class performed the rap along with skits about each of the Six Pillars for the entire school. She has since shown a video of the performance to the Kiwanians of Windsor, who sponsor CC! at Tozer Elementary, and used it in a teacher's education class at the University of Northern Colorado. Everywhere the rap has earned rave reviews.
