Reston, VA: Third Annual "Do the Right Thing" Essay Contest

Representatives of the Reston CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition and Fairfax County School Board Chairman Stuart Gibson presented awards for the Third Annual  "Do The Right Thing" Essay and Poster Contest during the 2003 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration. Students either wrote a 1,000-word essay about a good citizen in the Reston community, one who embodies the Six Pillars of Character, or designed a poster of someone practicing the Six Pillars. SkateQuest and The Business Bank sponsored the contest.
