The CC! Week 1995 celebration drew bus-load after bus-load, ultimately packing Hartford’s Bushnell Memorial Auditorium with close to 2,700 youngsters. In all, some 75 school districts were represented at the rally, attracting students from all corners of Connecticut, and making theirs the first state on the east coast to implement CC! statewide.

Joining CC! President Michael Josephson and Coalition Spokesman Tom Selleck were Connecticut Governor John Rowland, Hartford Mayor Michael Peters and prominent educators and state and community leaders.

But the students brought the event to life, showing off original artwork, receiving awards, and providing entertainment with songs and videos they had made about good character.
